It funny you mention that Palahniuk quote, it has often been discussion within a particular group of my friends and I. One of my friends likes to put it another way, she says she is “finding pieces of herself all around.” I, possibly a bit more of a pessimist, find myself stealing my pieces from others but I suppose it is all the same.
